Overview
CMA TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS FZCO operates Jambo Contact at https://jambo.contact. This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we process through the Service, including data received from Meta platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Direct) when a business connects those channels to Jambo Contact.
Jambo Contact is used by businesses to manage inbound leads and conversations. Depending on your relationship with us, you may be a Jambo account holder or an end user who contacted a business through a form, email, or Meta messaging channel powered by Jambo Contact.
Meta platform data we may store
When a Jambo customer connects Meta messaging, we may receive and store information such as a Meta-scoped user identifier, profile name or username shown by Meta, message text and attachments, delivery timestamps, conversation metadata, and technical webhook or API logs needed to operate the integration securely.
We use this data only to deliver the Service to our customer—for example, to display conversations in their inbox, generate AI-assisted draft replies they review, and send responses within Meta's messaging rules. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
If you have a Jambo Contact account
You can request deletion of your account and associated workspace data by:
- Signing in and removing data from your workspace, or asking your workspace administrator to delete relevant records.
- Emailing [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject line "Account data deletion request."
We may need to verify your identity before processing the request. After verification, we delete or anonymize personal data in our systems within 30 days unless we must retain a limited subset for legal, security, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.
If you messaged a business through Meta
If you contacted a business on WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram and that business uses Jambo Contact, we process your messages as a service provider on their behalf. The business is responsible for how they use your information; we delete or retain data according to their instructions and our agreements with them.
To request deletion of Meta-related data we hold about you:
- Contact the business you messaged and ask them to delete your conversation. They can remove records from their Jambo workspace directly.
- If you cannot reach the business, or they do not respond, submit a deletion request to us using the form below or by emailing [email protected].
Please include as much of the following as you can so we can locate your data:
- The business name or website you contacted
- The Meta platform you used (WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram)
- Your Meta username, phone number, or profile name (if known)
- Approximate dates of your messages
- A copy of your request or any reference the business gave you
After we verify the request, we delete matching personal data from Jambo Contact within 30 days and notify the business customer when required. Some information may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before automatic purge, or where retention is required by law.
